How do I evaluate new technology?

There are many types of software and applications that do the same thing; so why use one over the other? In my journey I have come across a lot of new software, all of which are beneficial in different contexts. There are also many evaluation models, however, I want to share with you how I recommend software and why. To do this, I want to keep it as simple as possible and evaluate it agains the following areas:

• How can technology be maximised for multiple purposes?

• How does it enhance the educator/learner experience?

• How many different learning activity types does it facilitate in the online space?
